Application Business System Analyst

Reports To: Applications Manager

Department: 8020 - Information Services

Location: Suzhou, China


Job Summary:

Application Business System Analyst will be responsible for supporting the ERP/MRP application system and performing MRP Reporting and forecasting. Candidates should have experience troubleshooting application issues, maintaining application software and report writing.


Reporting Relationships: None

Principal Responsibilities:

• Assists with training and documentation to departments such as Purchasing, Finance, and Operations in the most effective use of systems applications.
• Creates database and reporting solutions to provide efficient financial management tools to better meet the needs of business unit leaders.
• Apply forecasting techniques for inventory and sales analysis
• Perform MRP reporting and other reporting and system analysis needs
• Assist with software upgrades, testing, and resolving production support problems in a prompt and efficient manner
• Assist project manager with other duties as needed.

Education, Training and Experience:

• The candidates for this position should have a minimum of 3 years of business analysis experience working with ERP systems with a strong focus in manufacturing. MRP reporting experience required. Globe Software experience is a plus.
• A familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures is required. Experience providing system support, system maintenance and assisting with software implementation and integration projects.
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in related area.
• Candidate must have experience in the following areas: ERP Software, Adv. Excel capabilities, Relational Database exp. and extensive report writing.
• The candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
