Spiral wrap insulation systems provide a uniform coverage for electrical isolation with a minimum thickness buildup. The materials are proven to be tolerant to low temperature environments.

Kapton® Polyimide Film (Type H) Insulation

Kapton polyimide film has excellent physical, electrical and mechanical properties over a wide range of temperatures. Kapton film has been used in wire and cable insulation applications in low temperature environments near -273°C. It also has excellent resistance to nuclear radiation.
