Inventory Control Clerk

Summary – This position will maintain a perpetual inventory of materials, equipment, supplies, and other general stock items. 

Job Responsibilities – Activities:

Functions:

  • Conduct cycle counts 
  • Issue components and parts to work orders
  • Pulling and staging parts for work orders
  • Transport components between facilities
  • Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of manufacturing consumables 
  • Shipping/receiving goods
  • Preparing shipment paperwork (BOLs, packing lists, commercial invoices)
  • Prepare and package shipments (preservation, packaging, packing, marking)
  • Loading/unloading trucks using material handling equipment
  • Organize and file all hard copy receipts/shipments/issues
  • Housekeeping of warehouse area and components
  • Perform Oracle database transactions for receiving, issuing, inventory transfer, and cycle counts 
  • Other tasks as required 

Education – Experience:

Required: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of experience 

Required Skills, Competencies, Authorities and Training Needs:

  • Clerical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office programs 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills 
  • Planning and problem-solving skills 
  • US Citizen
