Manages and oversees the Transformer Assembly areas for oil-filled and air-cooled/dry transformers. This includes lamination, final assembly and tanking. Transformer sizes range from 1 mVA to 50 MVA.
Functions:
- Manages and oversees Transformer Assembly and Lamination Department for new and repair jobs.
- Provides direct supervision to the Team Leaders and employees of the Transformer side of Production while shifting to performing hands-on production tasks.
- Provide a quality product and drive labor costs down to provide a competitive cost in the market.
- Reads prints to build complex mechanical assemblies to lead and direct team.

- Trains employees for best practices using work procedures. Create work procedures/instructions if one doesn’t already exist or edit/revise existing ones.

Education – Experience:
- Requires at least 5 years’ experience in large, industrial manufacturing industry. Transformer manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience or assistant supervisor experience in manufacturing organization.
- Must be able to balance supervisory/managerial duties and providing direction to the team with hands-on production tasks.
- Must be able to speak English. Spanish speaking/fluency is a plus.

Position Summary: The Sr. Planner/Scheduler is responsible for coordinating day to day planning, scheduling, and supervising throughout the production process or cycle on the manufacturing floor, including the coordination of materials available for the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Manage creation of and/or organize a production schedule on a daily basis while making sure that every output (level) is recorded appropriately and correctly.

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects and utilizing the planning department resources as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of multiple projects
- Direct Kick-Off Meeting to confirm project scope, customer need-by dates, hi-level schedule and labor budget hours and revenue milestones.

Functions:
- Selects gauge and type of sheet metal according to drawings provided

Summary – Job Responsibilities – Activities:
Position Summary: Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the design of mechanical components for transformer core and coils, tanks, electrical enclosures, cooling systems and cabinets for oil-filled and dry-type transformers. Works with minimal supervision and leads others in a team setting to design and support the construction of magnetic components and power systems.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical design/detail of core and coils, tanks, enclosures and cooling systems per customer requirements.
- Review designs for mechanical integrity and conformance to applicable standards.
- Select transformer accessories/components.
- Apply analytical and numerical methods to analyze mechanical designs for structural integrity and thermal performance.

- Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally as needed to service equipment, approximately 25-35% of the time after probationary training has been completed.

Position Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer acts as a liaison between Production and Engineering to resolve technical issues that affect Production.
Responsibilities:
- Be seen as the main floor contact for mechanical & electrical engineering clarifications and changes. In the case of changes that do not affect form/fit/function or the specification, correct via ECN. Otherwise, engage with applicable Engineer to address.
- For metal fabrication, review usage procedures. tooling, process improvements, and sourcing

- Knowledge of Power System Single/Three Line Diagrams
- Knowledge of Power System Protection Relays
- Ability to design control schematics
- Proficiency in AutoCAD

Summary – Job Responsibilities – Activities:
- Plan, lay-out, assemble, and install components and assemblies within fabricated steel assemblies per shop drawings.
- Assemble, modify, test, and adjust custom mechanical assemblies and apparatus applying knowledge of various assembly techniques and referring to shop drawings and instructions.
- Measure out and mark dimensions and reference lines for installation of components.
- Install components such as disconnect switches, ground switch, relays, vacuum switches, interlocks, windows, door-stays, locks, capacitors, fuses, reactors, CT’s, PT’s, CPT’s, ground bus, phase bus,
- conductors, insulators, hardware, etc.
- Read and understand blue prints, drawings, wiring diagrams, mechanical prints, assembly and
- schematic drawings, and receive verbal instructions on work to be performed.
- Ensure proper components are installed in appropriate sequence, per established methods,
- instructions, and drawings,
- Fasten, align, and mount parts, components, relays, using hand and power tools.
- Examine parts/ components that are installed to verify they are free from damage and defects. Notify Production Manager if defects are found.
- Route and terminate cables.
- Operate basic hand tools, saws, punches, grinders, drills.
- Clean up shop area of tools and work at the end of each shift.
- Perform other work duties as assigned.
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Position Summary: The Engineering Admin will coordinate with fellow engineers in order to design and develop systems, identify and meet project requirements, create strategies to optimize the daily project operations, and other administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Document control/monitoring – Drawing releases to Production/Test mark-ups from the floor (tracking/scanning)
- Customer approval drawings/documents tracking – drawing lists.
- Engineering Project assignments tracking/maintenance in Epicor
- Engineering Schedules and major milestones tracking, updating ETCs,
- Engineering Reports including milestones, budgets, project tracking, Costed BOM vs. Budget Material, ETCs
- Epicor Schedules and Milestones monitor and administrative support for Engineering
- Epicor method (BOM) and Job/WIP maintenance support
- Engineering loading (dept and by Engineering), including budgets, routine report (weekly/monthly), %-complete
- Manuals – test reports, datasheets, drawings, documents
- ECOs/ECNs – BOM/Job/WIP support and Distributing ECOs to other departments
- Engineering Database Maintenance – Power Supply, Transformer
- Create work instructions and guidebook – procedures for Engineering Admin processes
- Work with Planning, Order entry and other departments and needed to coordinate Engineering activities and resolves conflicts (ex. order acknowledgments, due dates, SPEC numbers, serial numbers, etc.)
- Miscellaneous scanning, copying, etc.
Education – Experience:
- Associate Degree in related field
- Able to understand project schedules and budgets
